Now you don’t need to travel far to get that iconic giraffe photo. Previously, visitors had to travel over three hours to Kanchanaburi for such an experience. Today, you can interact with giraffes right here in Ayutthaya. Perfect for those who want amazing wildlife photos without long travel times.

Wat Mahathat & the Buddha Head in Tree Roots

Built during the Sukhothai period, Wat Mahathat is one of Ayutthaya’s earliest Khmer-style temples and part of the UNESCO-listed Historic City of Ayutthaya (inscribed in 1991).
Its most famous feature is the Buddha head entwined within tree roots. Believed to have been hidden underground in the 15th century and rediscovered in the 19th century, this iconic image has become one of Thailand’s most symbolic cultural landmarks.

Vehicle space is limited; large luggage is not permitted.
Private tours require a minimum of 2 participants and can accommodate up to 200 people. For groups exceeding 36 people, please contact customer service for customized arrangements.
Infants under 2 years old (under 24 months) who do not require a seat are free of charge but must be held by an adult. Guests aged 2 and above are charged the full tour price.
Pick-up and drop-off service is provided directly from designated hotels within Bangkok city center. If the pick-up location is outside central Bangkok, additional transfer fees will apply. Please contact customer service with your pick-up location for a quotation.
Private tours will depart at the scheduled time on the booking date unless affected by force majeure.
This is a fixed itinerary with set routes and timing. No changes or modifications are allowed. If guests voluntarily skip any attractions, it will be considered a forfeiture without refund or compensation.
The guide and driver will arrive on time at the hotel lobby or designated meeting point. If you are unable to locate them, please call Vacio customer service via LINE or WhatsApp immediately.
The guide and driver will wait for up to 1 hour at the meeting point. Late arrivals will be treated as a NO SHOW, and the booking will be forfeited without refund.
