Attraction Highlight
Wat Niwet Thammaprawat (Anna Church)
- Built in 1878 under the command of King Rama V, this extraordinary temple reflects Western Gothic architectural influence. King Rama V was educated by the British governess Anna, whose story inspired the film Anna and the King. Because of this connection, locals often refer to the temple as “Anna Church.”
- Featuring pointed arches and European stained-glass windows, the exterior resembles a Western cathedral. However, instead of Christian imagery, the interior enshrines a statue of the Buddha—making it one of the most unique temples in Thailand and the world.

Central Ayutthaya – Design Landmark Shopping Complex
- Central Ayutthaya is the newest landmark of Ayutthaya Province, covering over 35,000 square meters. Designed under the concept of “Thai Twist,” its exterior features layered modular golden aluminum panels that create a flowing, shimmering effect.
- The design also incorporates the craftsmanship philosophy of the Ayutthaya era, blending heritage inspiration with contemporary architecture to form a truly unforgettable visual identity—beautifully showcasing Thai aesthetics and distinctive cultural tones.
- This is also a must-visit photo spot. The expansive walls reflect changing light and shadows throughout the day, producing unique textures and golden hues—perfect for elegant, high-quality photos.
- Inside the mall, the décor harmoniously combines traditional Thai elements with modern design, offering diverse backdrops that capture different moods and styles in your travel memories.
Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon
- Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon is one of the oldest and best-preserved temples in Ayutthaya, originally built in the 14th century. The temple was later expanded to commemorate King Naresuan’s historic victory over the Burmese army in 1592, when he famously fought in an elephant-back duel. The temple’s name translates to “Temple of the Great Victory.”
- The highlights of the temple include its impressive main chedi (stupa), rows of serene Buddha statues, and the magnificent reclining Buddha image. The outdoor reclining Buddha stretches approximately 28 meters in length. According to local belief, if you can successfully stick a coin onto the sole of the reclining Buddha’s foot, good luck will follow and your wishes may come true.
Wat Chaiwatthanaram × Traditional Thai Costume Experience
- Wat Chaiwatthanaram, also known as the “Royal Consort Temple,” is one of the most magnificent and picturesque temples in Ayutthaya. Its architecture blends Khmer and Indian influences, earning it the nickname “Thailand’s Little Angkor.”
- At the heart of the temple stands the towering central prang (main pagoda), surrounded symmetrically by four smaller prangs and eight even smaller chedis and galleries, creating a grand and harmonious layout.
- The temple gained further popularity as a filming location for the hit Thai period drama Love Destiny, making it a must-visit destination for cultural enthusiasts.
- Wearing traditional Thai costume here allows you to fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Ayutthaya era. The golden glow of sunset reflecting on the ancient pagodas—and the beautifully illuminated temple at night—create unforgettable, picture-perfect moments.
Countryside Scenic Café (1 Drink Included)
- Nestled in the middle of lush rice fields, this charming countryside café offers a serene natural setting surrounded by greenery. Gentle breezes, the soothing sound of water, and soft background music create the perfect atmosphere for relaxation, a leisurely stroll, and capturing beautiful photos.
- Sit back with a refreshing drink in hand as endless green fields stretch around you, and enjoy the calming touch of fresh country air.
- The café features multiple photo spots ideal for photography lovers. A highlight is the beautifully crafted circular bamboo tunnel connected by wooden walkways, adding a rustic countryside charm and creating a dreamy, nature-inspired backdrop for unforgettable travel photos.
